Jessica is a storyteller.  She embraces the power of stories to build understanding by being vulnerable as she shares the experiences that have come to define her world as a queer, non-binary, femme, transgender woman.  She believes the window provided by understanding and empathy has the potential to unlock love and affirmation and take the wind out of fear and misinformation based attacks on the queer and trans community.

She is proud of her two grown children and shares her life with her girlfriend Liz Vernholm and celebrates life with found family that loves and supports her in good times and bad.
