Book

I wrote He/She/They - Us about a year after I transitioned.  As I came out to people, I found myself having to answer questions about myself and my transition to people who were desperate to be allies and to learn how to support me.  While I very much appreciated their desire to help, I also found myself trying to answer these questions while searching for the same answers myself.

I wanted to create a quick resource for laypeople who want to be allies so that they could find the answers they needed to support the transgender people they loved and to take some of the pressure off of transgender people early in their transition.

The book is a compilation of the information I present in the professional development course I facilitate at Texas State University titled "Supporting Transgender and Gender Diverse People in Higher Education."  I broadened the focus and removed some of the higher education specific materials.

I hope people find my book a helpful primer to these concepts.
